After contemplating purchasing a $250 dado blade set, I decided to try this $59 set (based on the reviews). I am so glad I did! Pulling these babies from the box, I could just tell that this was a quality product. The individual heft and feel of the individual blades felt solid in my hands and gave me that special feeling that only a quality tool delivers. The blades were a little tight on the arbor but I much prefer that to a sloppy fit. I also like the full sized chippers as opposed to the wing design. Cutting dados into 3/4" oak ply, I got flat bottoms and zero tear out!I am very impressed. In all, I am not convinced that the $250 blade set could have delivered much better results. Admittedly, this is the first Dado set I ever purchased. But, on first impressions this was an outstanding purchase. Solid, heavy construction with sharp carbide teeth. I’ve already made several cuts with it at various dimensions and have found that everyone of them was spot on. Highly recommended.

I had been looking for a heavy duty square set at a reasonable price and this is it. Priced about 1/3rd of Starret set. Quality not up to Starret standards but very good. Liked angle square as can mark from both sides without having to change to mirrored angle. Recommended.

A real time and error saver. A thumbwheel could be a nice addition, and it might be nice to have more numbers, to finer than 1/8" increments, but that would also clutter the dial. I don't "prefer fractional measurement," and it will be a pain no matter what, but sadly this country isn't likely to go metric in the foreseeable future. These calipers have become essential in the few days since we bought them.
