Review 1 of 20:
I have used Titebond III on a lot of projects, and crafts that I have made . The first that comes to mind is, "Cutting Boards". I had used Titebond II on all of these before. Then when Titebond III came out. I decided to try it, being that it said it was waterproof. As I said, I used, and had never had a problem with Titebond II, but for the extra hold. I tryed it, and found that, for me, I would use the Titebond III. I did a little test myself. Using hot soapy water. I just left a few scrap peices of wood that I had laying around. I glued a few peices together. Some with Titebond II, and the others with Titebond III. After about 30 minutes, I took them out, and dried them. Not that you would do this normaly, but for me, thats when...

Titebond® and Titebond® II Extend Wood Glues

Review 1 of 7:
I can't understand why this product is not more widely available. I just completed a complicated "glue-up" on oak with no problems whatsoever. The glue is nowhere near as tacky as other Titebond products so that takes a bit of getting used to. The product is also much clearer. So squezze out is much less noticeable. I suggest keeping the project clamped for 12-24 hours to obtain a stronger bond.

I really am impressed with this glue for wood. It sets in 30 minutes and I can unclamp, then glue another piece with the clamps. I think it is a great glue.

Review 1 of 4:
After trying various other glues, I finally discovered hide glue to re-cement slats to the canvas on my roll-top desk sliding tambour. It worked great. It goes on wet and sticky and gives plenty of time to work out the placements. I think it was the best solution to this application - gluing wood to canvas.

Titebond HiPurformer Polyurethane Hot Melt Adhesive

Titebond HiPurformer Polyurethane Hot Melt Adhesive

$157.49

Customer Review Rating: 4.5 (Average rating from all reviews)
Review 1 of 10:
Excellent product for quick bond applications, with excellent joint strength. However, you must make sure the surfaces being bonded are not cold to begin with, as this will significantly reduce the assembly time, perhaps to the point where it cures to fast to allow a bond. Shelf life once open is not great, so try to line up all your projects for it ahead of time. At [price] per tube, it is significantly more expensive than regular wood glue.

Titebond Cold Press for Veneer

Review 1 of 6:

I build one-off custom cabinets and have used this glue on almost all of my bent and flat laminations, either veneer or of multi-layer solid wood. I use foam paint rollers and a paint tray for application. It performs better under vacuum bagging as opposed to clamping in my opinion. My vacuum table is 5'x 10' and I am able to pieces up to 24" tall. It is larger than most but I am able to form large curved pieces and this glue has been great to work with. It has a long open time, making multi-layer 1/8" solid pieces managable. I have found that with the thicker solid wood laminations you need to coat each side of the layers. The resulting bond is extremely strong. And I have never had a problem with delamination in over 10 years. It's ease of use, and great working times make...
