This is a great wood to turn. Unfortunately, many of the bowl blanks I got had cracks under the wax, which means that whoever cut them waxed over cracks/checks/small holes that were already there. Rockler was great about taking the defective ones back. Very good company.
"I only get to visit the Pittsburgh store once a year so I make sure to make my visit count. The staff there is always helpful and very patient as I zip from aisle to aisle like a child in a toy store." -
