How do you sharpen the spindle master?

BEST ANSWER: You can sharpen the spindle master very much like you sharpen a scraper. You just have to adjust the table on the grinder to the angle of the bevel

What is the length overall, and of the handle and metal part separately? Please tell me about the nature of the steel used in the tools. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: The steel used is HSS.Overall length is between 10.25 and 10.5 inches.Handle length is 6 inches and the blade is between 3.875 and 4.25 inches.
