I am pleased with this mobile base. The only thing I have to compare it to is a set of step down casters for my '80s Craftsman bandsaw and it's tiny wheels. This is a far cry better than that solution. I am using it on my Grizzly G1023RLWX table saw and have no problem moving it around the garage. The only complaint (and reason I only gave it 4 stars) is that the swivel wheels hold the base about a quarter inch lower than the fixed wheel side. While this may not be a concern over the 21" width that I have the base set up for, it does make my 44" wide cast iron table to be noticeably tilted. The only time this matters though is when using my roller stand for outfeed support, it also has to be leaning slightly to one side.
Not tablesaw worthy

Not sure if I got a bad base, or other people have different expectations. I have a Delta Unisaw, got this base for it and am very disappointed. The table saw is not stable on the base. There is a significant amount of flex on the bracket that holds the swivel wheels. I have to brace that end of the saw to be able to safely use the saw. There needs to be an additional gusset between the bracket that holds the swivel wheel and the slot arm where the extension goes in.

Item arrived in a sturdy box on 7 Aug 13. Set it up on the 8th. Placed my Jet 6" long bed jointer on it. Previously, this tool had been placed on a mobile frame with 2" wheels and was very difficult to move around. It also left marks on the floor. The mobility of this tool on the Rockler mobile base with the large wheels is just amazing. I'm ordering another one for my bandsaw.

I got this to go with a Jet jjp-12 jointer planer for my small shop. The shop has a very uneven floor and other mobile bases were both flimsier and much more likely to bottom out. This is simply amazing in how well it works with the 530 pound jointer/planer.
One of the best mobile bases...

One of the best mobile bases I've seen in a long time. Well worth the money. Here's a bit of advice to save you time and trouble- if you need to purchase the extension kits to accommodate a larger machine you should do so. I thought I could use my own steel to accomplish that task and it wasn't the same thing and I ended up purchasing extensions from Rockler. While they may look like just plain flat steel they are in reality hardened and rolled with just a slight curvature that makes them stiffer.
