Very Comfortable and Works great!

Michael Posted July 22, 2014
I ordered two of these mats when they were on sale and wish I'd ordered more! They are much more comfortable than standing on a concrete floor and more eye appealing than the interlocking squares I had previously. I will probably end up order more. Good investment!

Cushy, Long Wearing Mats!

Larry Dobbins Posted January 19, 2014
I bought one of these mats recently. Now I'm coming back for another one. The first purchase confirmed my suspicion that these new Rockler branded mats were pretty much the same ( by the same manufacturer) as three unbranded mats I bought from Rocker several years ago. Those three mats went in the kitchen for the cook and myself --mine was at the sink of course! I found that they really help the feet and legs when standing in one spot, so I was eager to try these new mats. The pebble finish, the elasticity, the bottom texture, and the edges on these new mats are the same as the earlier ones that have held up very well under a lot of foot traffic. One of the older mats shows a little bit of wear. The other two still look new.

These new ones, going in my shop, are longer and have the Rockler name neatly impressed in the top finish of one corner. These mats, like the first ones, are soft enough under foot, that when you step off them, you can see for a few seconds the imprint of your feet where you stood. They unroll and lay down flat real well. The mats have a textured bottom that grips the vinyl floor (kitchen) and the concrete (shop) real well; they don't walk at all. The long edges of the mats taper over about an inch to a fine edge, enough that I can sweep dirt, except for the very finest particles, from the floor up onto the mat, without the mat impeding my sweeping up to and over the mat. The tapers on the end of the mats are a little more blunt, but not enough that you are likely to trip on them. I think you'll like them and the cook will probably like them as well.
