I have used bolts that came with it. I have also made 1" thick spacers and used longer bolts. The bolts are Sri. So you can use most any spacers. I was making raised panel doors on my table saw and added 1" thick additional, spacers to make thr cuts more uniform.. I really like thr fence.

Is this reversible? My band saw has the miter slot on the right side of blade and my table saw has the miter slot on the left side of blade, so I would need to turn it over depending on which saw I was using.

Yes it can if you reverse the knobs and plates(top to bottom and visa versa) that secure the device in the tracks. Looked at it today to see for sure.

What is the height of the double feather board?
Mark G.
on Jun 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Each feather board is 3/4" thick and the spacer is 1.5" thick for a total stack of 3". You can stack the two feather boards on top of each other to make one 1.5" thick but you lose the alignment feature that the spacers provide.

Strong and useful
I use this whenever the wood piece allows for it. You can use it as either a single thickness or stack the higher piece to different heights which is very useful. Stays firmly in the miter slot even with huge force against it.

A needed item for safety
I use this on my router table when I am milling taller or thicker stock and it's a much needed safety item. It can be used as a single level featherboard, or a double stack for those times when you have tall or thick stock that needs the proper support to stay safe... WELL WORTH the money in my opinion. Hope this helps some...

Picked one of these up after trying to make use of the Rockler Louver router bit {item 29932} with standard featherboards and not being happy with the results. What a difference! This holds the workpiece tight against the fence, and it adjusts very easily. It has some great uses on other tools as well!It went on sale a couple days after I bought it, but true to form the Rockler customer service was awesome and they credited me back the difference. Can't beat that!

I was in the middle of a project and needed an additional fetherboard. I went to local home center and bought a well known name unit. After finishing the project, I ordered these featherboards from Rockler. These units are better made. I purchased them on sale and got double the equipment with better miter slot holders for less money. I highly recommend these units. BWT - I am 77 and consider myself an advanced woodworker.

Outstanding product. I use the Rockler Double Featherboard to hold vertical stock to the router fence thus eliminating chatter and maring. The most impressive aspect of this product is it's versatility, it can be used as a single or double and that it can be used with your table and band saw. I would recommend this product to anyone that takes pride in their work.

Just the ticket for working with large crown molding bits when the stock is being held on-edge! I tried, and failed miserably to hand hold stock with my molding bit, but using this stacked double feather-board it was a snap. I cut a 10 ft. long piece of molding and it came out smooth as glass..... no chatter marks or gouges of any kind! Thanks Rockler!!!!

I have only had the double featherboards for a week or so and I use them every day! Looks like they are made out of some reinforced nylon plastic, very durable and very well designed. The double stack option is kinda cool and comes in handy when cutting verticle boards.I got them when they were on sale which was a fantastic deal so i got two sets, will use the second set when I get my new router table bought and set up.You won't regret buying this feather board, its very well made and works great!

Very good product for the price. I have Bench Dog's as well and these are cheaper and do just as good a job. If you don't own feather boards get them! Buy 2 of these (21752) and 2 of item number 26993 (miter track adapters). You will be set up with 2 large and 4 small feather boards when you need them. It's ideal. Wonderful product.

I bought the double featherboard to use with my bandsaw. I needed to resaw some slab mahogany for a project and I needed a way to hold the wood tight against the fence while I fed the wood into the blade. I had to assemble the featherboard upside down since the feed direction on the bandsaw is opposite other tools, but the unit worked perfectly.

Double featherboard
Great accessory for the router table, holds board well against the fence when making cuts with molding bits or other bead bits. Only down side is the hold bars for the T bar, they are fairly wide and take up a lot of room in the t-slot on the router table. When I make molding I tend to overuse feather boards to insure a smooth and accurate profile cut. This wide t bar clamp limits my options a little.

Nothing Special
Once I put my hands on the item, I said "duh". I have a dozen of the singles and I could have just as easily made a spacer to stack them. [for the height you need, finding the bolts will be the hard part.] So let's just talk about the singles ... they're about as good as you're going to find.

Nicely made and works well. Only complain is the miter bars extend far enough beyond the featherboard itself to cause me problems using this on my bandsaw. Interference with the fence rail prevents putting the featherboard before the blade.

I purchased the Double Featherboard to...
I purchased the Double Featherboard to use on my Craftsman 10" table saw. I needed to resaw some 1x6 pine down to 1/4". The featherboard held the material against the rip fence in a much safer manner than I could with my bare hands. The only problem I had was the rails for the miter slot on the saw table were not the right size for the Featherboard rails. I made some rails in the same form as the aluminum rails out of some scrap hard wood I had on hand. They work just fine.

I'll need different hardware
They don't fit my Ridgid Table Saw or my Craftsman Router Table. The quality of the boards seems fine but I'll need to get different hardware to use them.

I rated this as fair because...
I rated this as fair because the centering stubs on the plastic spacer prevent the feather board from being fully extended from the miter slot, it is about 3/16 shorter than the regular feather board. Not much of a difference but enough to keep from giving proper support when just trimming a bit of stock from a board. I had to drill out one of the centering hubs in each spacer in order to get the feather board to extend fully. Once modified it worked fine. Made trimming boards easier and safer.

I purchased this item on sale,...
I purchased this item on sale, but the metal piece did not fit the groove on my saw. The company said to return the item. However, the UPS charges would have exceeded amount I paid for it. Conclusion: If you have a 10 inch Sears Table Saw. don't buy the double featherboard kit.
