Overview

Our brand-new pro tables feature one-piece 3/4" solid phenolic construction for an ultra-flat, low-friction surface that won't warp, dent, scratch or delaminate. The whiter, brighter finish enhances visibility, while our new, flat CNC-machined router plates offer better precision and repeatability than ever before. 3/4" T-profile miter slot allows you to use precision aftermarket miter gauges, while universal T-tracks in both the fence and table accept stops, hold-downs and more. Included aluminum Pro Fence features two adjustable white melamine MDF faces, front- and rear-facing accessory T-tracks, a dust port and a bit guard. 10-point plate leveling/locking system.

  • 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" x 1/4" aluminum plate is CNC machined for incredible flatness and precision.
  • 24" x 32" table for over five square feet of surface area.
  • Features 8-points of plate leveling and 2 locking points.
  • Ergonomic T-knobs for easy fence adjustment.
  • Includes bit safety guard for safe routing.
  • Includes Rockler Pro Fence with extruded aluminum backer for straight, accurate cuts.
  • Large opening in fence for big router bits.
  • Aluminum fence backer features front- and rear-mounted universal T-tracks that accept 5/16" T-bolts, 1/4" T-bolts, and 1/4" Hex bolts.
  • Fence features a 2-1/2" O.D. (2-1/4" I.D.) dust port

1/4" Aluminum Router Plates Predrilled for Most Routers: To choose an aluminum plate, find your router in one of the four groups below. If your router is not listed, choose either the Standard Blank Plate (with a 3-1/4" bit opening) or the Large Blank Plate (with a 3-11/16" bit opening) and drill custom mounting holes.

  • Group A routers: Makita 1100; Milwaukee 5615-5624; DeWalt 616-618; Bosch 1617-1618; Ridgid 2930 Combo Kit; Hitachi M12VC (fixed and kit); Porter-Cable 690, 890, 7529, 97529 and 8529. Note: Current models of the Porter-Cable 892 require at least two screws  to be 1/2" long versus 5/8".
  • Group B routers: DeWalt DW621 and DW621K; Craftsman Standard; Freud FT 1700E and 1702VCEK
  • Group C routers: Porter-Cable 7518, 7519, 7538 and 7539; Milwaukee 5625-20; Triton TRA001 and MOF001

Excellent Choice for the money

Michael Posted December 3, 2013
Purchased this table top and fence along with the Pro-Lift system for my shop. Of course, I would like another 16 square feet of tabletop, but then how'd they get it in a box and then us get it home? The fence and available attachments are incredible. There are off-set bars for the Pro-Fence that will allow us to use the router table as a jointer as well.

This is a very good setup,...

This is a very good setup, but there are a few minor issues and one major issue. First the good - the top is totally solid, and is as flat as I can tell without using feeler gagues. The hardware is all straight and solid. The fence is nice and tall, with T-tracks facing forwards and back. It also comes with metal rods to shim out one side either 1/32" or 1/16" to use it as a jointer, which was not indicated on the website. The plate is also sturdy and as flat as I can tell with just a straightedge, and my router screwed onto it with no issues. There are a few minor issues I can see so far. First off the "B-group" router plate doesn't have a hole for the Craftsman above-the-table adjustment. I can just drill another hole for that. The sub-fences stand proud of the top T-track, which causes the included feather boards not to attach quite correctly. I'll just stack up some washers to fix that. The hole spacing on the fence is apparently different than their other fences, so their jointer shims don't fit correctly. I'll either cut another slot or return them. If I'd known it came with the built-in offsets I wouldn't have even ordered them. However, the rods for the jointer set-up are rectangular, not square. This allows for the possibility of inserting them incorrectly, resulting in taking off more material than intended, or, god forbid, inserting one properly and one incorrectly, resulting in a slanted outfeed fence! I think that this would be fairly obvious though. Now, for the one major issue I have...The inserts that the router plate screws into. These are press-fit brass inserts. Pressed into what is basically just plastic. And they're oriented so that screwing the plate down pulls them out. They don't do anything as-is. Because there's no friction between the metal and the plastic I can easily pull them out with my fingers. I would invert them, but they're too long. They either need to be glued in {but what is going to stick to this stuff?} or threaded on the backside for a nut to lock them down. Or just replace them with T-nuts. With all that said I am still surprised to give this thing a 4/5 rating, but it really does seem like a quality product. It just needs a few bugs shaken out of it.
