I rarely write reviews for products, but had to make an exception for this blade/bit cleaning solution. After using it to clean a single saw blade and experiencing how well it works, I went on a rampage cleaning every blade and bit in my shop. Even ones that I had tried to clean using other products. The results are very good. My only complaint - the bristles came out of the brass wire brush half way through the first saw blade. This would have received 5 stars if it weren't for that.

Save your money! The tub had a warped bottom and it took twice the amount of solution to cover the blade. I had some blades that had been used only a few months and some that had not been cleaned in years. None of the blades cleaned up very well at all. I'm going back to my spray cleaner!

Lid out of the box was warped and would not seal. Used brush on one blade and it showed significant wear after use. Blade was not that dirty but cleaned up well as advertised.Cannot store solution in container with seal issues as noted Requires a large amount of cleaner as well to fill to the point to cover single 10 in. blade (app. 25% of included cleaner solution).

I used this in the same manner as the wood whisperer demonstrated in a video tutorial. Good lord how it completely rejuvenated my router bits! Very Impressed.

The cleaning solution is fine. The blue tub is 14" in diameter, which is very large. That's a fault for two reasons: First, it takes too much fluid to fill for a 12" or 10" blade, let alone for a smaller blade! and second, it is pretty large for storage when shelf space is limited anyway. If you're running a good ol' sawmill, the tub would be too small, but for the normal woodworking shop, better to just get the cleaning solution and find a couple of nesting RubberMaid tubs that fit the blades we normally use.
