Works so well, I bought a 2nd
Posted March 4, 2014
I purchased my 1st lift a couple years back. Mine sits in my assembly table and is used and abused everyday. The finish has taken a beating but I feel it holds up better than a Phenolic product would. I purchased my 2nd one to help speed up work with less bit changes. It is as simple as it gets to use. I will be looking to add a couple more to my work table as time goes on.
Annodized finish rubs off too easily

I purchased this lift late-2013 and am in the process of running my second significant project through it.
Minor nit - This was a replacement for the Rockler table insert. This plate is thicker than the non-lift version requiring minor rework of my table to accommodate.
The blue finish is starting to rub off and just streaked 20bf of hard maple - fortunately it seems like it can be scraped off however I am concerned as to how much more wood will be blemished before it is finished deteriorating and if I will be perpetually dealing with oxide streaks once down to bare aluminum like I do with my aluminum Craftsman TS. I gave up hoping the blue would stop after 10mins cleaning with a damp paper towel

I had adapted my table saw to include a router station. This worked okay for a number of years, but it was a pain to make fine adjustments to the height. During a good sale, I broke down and bought the Router Lift FX as well as Rockler's table. Wow, what a difference. My only complaint is that, out of the box, the tension screw was not tight enough so my bit tended to sink. After correcting that, it has stayed true, and my ability to really fine tune cuts has been fantastic.

Just purchased this router lift. After many years of under the table rasing I purchased this. Wish I had many years ago. works perfectly out of box. Adjustments are so easy. Only problem I have had is I want to change bits from top of table. A 16mm ofset wrench is needed to hold shaft. Was not able to locate one so I ended up bending a 16mm wrench to offset. works great. I use a Bosch 1617 router.

After having a router sitting on the router table for 5 years, and not using it because it was hard to set up. I bought the fx. I have used this more than I have ever used my router before. I had to remove the rake off the rounter rack to make it work. I wish I would have bought this a long time a go. Fast setup, great cuts, and a joy to use.
