Overview

This quality clock fit-up is perfect for a travel clock or for a bedside table. With this mini-movement and just a small block of scrap wood, you can make an elegant timepiece. Clock is fitted with a precision quartz watch movement and bezel is triple-plated with a gleaming gold finish. White arabic dial provides a clean, easy-to-read design. Pressure fits into a 1-3/8" hole. Battery comes pre-installed.

Runs on replaceable watch battery (SR626SW). Battery comes pre-installed.

Clock measures 1-7/16" outside diameter, with a 1-3/8" hole required. Clock is 7/16" deep, and requires a hole a minimum of 1/4" deep for mortising.

I used this to replace a defective clock. It fit perfectly. The original clock was of fair quality with a plastic back that required you to remove 3 miniature eyeglass screws and it did not have a second hand. Otherwise it looked identical. This one has a metal pry off backing and a second hand. In general I think is of very good quality in comparison to most of the ones that craftmakers use because they tend to use cheaper quality to keep costs down at the craft shows. You should consider this product over craft quality for those items you intend to keep for yourslf or gifts or for items you wish to produce better products out of.

I used this clock as part of a "dashboard" for a secretary desk I built. The battery finally died after 2 years, and the cost at Macy's to replace that battery was more than the cost of the clock. $12.99 + tax = $14.09
