Update 3 years later...

I appreciate this jig more every time I use it. A little more information is in order about "perfect" setup. Get your blade aligned with the fence before doing anything else. The blade should be as parallel to the miter slot as possible.

Once that is done, move the jig's fence to line up with the front of the blade and place a large draftsman's square against the saw blade, not touching the teeth. Slide the jig forward a bit and align the jig's fence with the edge of the sqare. Once you have a perfect 90 degree alignment, lock down the fence and loosen the transparent plastic indicator on the jig and align the indicator line with the zero mark.

This process will assure that any angle you cut will be as near perfect as possible. Put a flat shelf near your table saw with a couple of pieces of MDF on it to give the miter bar space while the MDF supports the jig's table. This will help keep it flat over the years. It will also keep it handy because once you learn how accurate this gadget is, you'll be using it frequently. You can also add a sacrificial board behind the work piece to stop tear out.

Read the instructions thoroughly before you cut it to size on your saw. And consider also buying the drop off sled as well. It really helps make a clean cut.

Great Product

Recently purchased. Arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Easily fitted to my Bosch table Saw, though I had to change the placement of the supplied low friction Nylo tape to make sure it made contact with my saw table. It did take awhile to make the needed adjustments to make sure there was no sideways movement in the mitre slot - several small screws need to be just right. This sled allows small adjustment of the saw cut angle by checking for a true right angle of the fence to the saw blade ( first make sure the saw blade is parallel to the mitre slot ) using a carpenter's square. I used the sled to make several 45 degree cuts and all came out accurate.

Great product...been using it for most...

Great product...been using it for most of a year. Very accurate, solidly built. I've been building a large tool chest for my garage, and built a shelf just to hold this for easy removal later. If you are considering buying, this is an excellent upgrade to a table saw.
