Eliminate the danger of pushing narrow strips between the saw and fence!

Overview

This jig allows you to rip thin strips on the left side of the blade, eliminating the danger of pushing narrow strips between the saw and fence. Since the strip is not trapped between the blade and fence, there is also less risk of binding and kickback. It's simple to use; a single knob locks the jig into the miter track and locks your setting at the same time. Ball bearing guide keeps your workpiece firmly against the fence for perfect repeatability. Use the graduated scale to fine-tune for extremely thin strips.

  • Note: Ripping thin strips requires the use of a zero-clearance insert, sold separately.
  • The perfect tool for edging, inlay, bent laminations and more.
  • Solid phenolic for durability.
  • Low-profile miter track clamp locks in at any point along the miter track.
  • Also works great on the bandsaw as a single-point fence for cutting curved slats in multiples.
  • Adjusts from 1-3/8" away from your miter track to 5-11/16" away from your miter track, enough for the thinnest rips
  • Measures 5-1/4"W x 8"L.
  • The jig is stationary, while the fence is moved for each cut.
  • Fits 3/4" W x 3/8" D Miter Tracks

Better than I thought for the price

As my summary states, this jig was very reasonable considering the potential benefit so I was a little sceptical when deciding to order. Now that I have used it I can say without reservation that you won't be dissapointed if you need a jig to assist you in cutting thin or other sized pieces. You can mark in pencil on the jig any setting you wish to use again making repeat setups a snap. Very impressed with this handy jig.

This an excellent jig it does what it is supposed to do. I make several different items out of a wood call extreme bending wood. I use this jig on my band saw to cut very accurate thin stripes for handles and other things. This fits my band saw just fine but my brother in laws band saw is a Laguna and this jig is too short to fit into his miter gauge and work. You should look into making this a little longer. The wood I am using is very expensive so a band saw is the saw of choice as the waste is less.

Nice

Dose exactly what they say it will, with great repeatability. My fingers and my saw fence love it.
