Very good DVD. Raffan shows several different techniques and critiques his own practices. Sometimes these instructional DVDs are almost too perfect, and can be intimidating, but Raffan makes mistakes, both technical and artistic, and shows how to recover from them. Inspirational, and I'm definitely going to be making better and more boxes after seeing this video.

Good DVD. Very instructional. The only disappointment was Raffan's admitted disrespect for safety in moving the tool rest while the lathe was running and excusing his poor safety habit by saying that old habits are hard to break. Not good for an instructional video.

It is a really good dvd. I would have given it 5 stars except when the audio was redubbed to remove tool noise etc which makes it easy to understand, but a few places you can hear parts of explanations that weren't dubbed back in and they would have been useful. Just want the technique and you can figure it out though.
