I built this out of cedar...

Jeffrey F from Grosse Ile, MI Posted January 9, 2008
I built this out of cedar and followed the instructions meticulously - there are some tricks to assembly that aren't apparent - like the short back supports for either side near the center get anchored to the strut at the same time the inside seat brackets get anchored - with the same 3" screw(s).There was one oversight that I made - once I cut all of the pieces out on the table saw - and the curved pieces with the jig saw, I started assembly prior to rounding the edges with a router - that left sharp corners on the back slats. I confess it was a "newbie" mistake, but don't you make it.Overall a very rewarding project and I spent many evenings grilling out on the deck sitting in this thing drinking beer and entertaining guests.

I ordered the twin seater plans...

I ordered the twin seater plans to I can get a idea to make any style I want to. I build adirondack chairs so I thought I could get a idea how to build it.

Overall the plan is very good....

Fred B from Tyrone, GA Posted May 4, 2009
Overall the plan is very good. There are dimension errors. Pieces C and D should be 16 3/8" not 15 1/2" as indicaded on cutting list.
