MEET NORM GIVEAWAY OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Central Time ("CT") on October 3, 2009 and ends at 11:59:59 PM CT on November 25, 2009 (the "Promotion Period"). Sweepstakes is open and offered to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia ("DC") who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited. How to Enter: Complete an electronic entry form at any Rockler Woodworking and Hardware in-store kiosk during normal store business hours during the Promotion Period. Entries must be entered by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for the drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Alternative form of entry: On a 3" x 5" card, handprint your complete name, address, city, state, zip code, birth date, daytime telephone number, and email address (optional). Mail to 2009 New Yankee Workshop Drawing, c/o Rockler Woodworking and Hardware, 4365 Willow Drive, Medina, MN 55340. Each entry must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for the drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. No mechanical reproductions of mail-in entries will be accepted. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different addresses or email accounts or any other methods will void all of that person's entries and that person will be disqualified. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for illegible, lost, late, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, or stolen entries. Winner Selection: Winner will be selected in a random drawing, which is final and binding. The drawing will be held on November 30, 2009 from among all eligible entries received during and up to the end of the Promotion Period. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the judge's decisions. Winner will be notified by e-mail and phone. Winner will have three (3) business days to respond to the notification. In the event that a winner does not respond within three (3) business days, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at random. Eligibility: Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Employees, directors and officers of Rockler Companies Inc., Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc., acting through its Delta|Porter-Cable divison (collectively, the "Sponsors"), their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries or any of their agents, advertising, promotional and other agencies, and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children and spouse) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. Prizes/Approximate Retail Value (ARV): One (1) Grand Prize: Trip for 2 to visit The New Yankee Workshop in Boston, MA in December of 2009. Trip includes: airfare for two from a major U.S. city to Boston, MA; hotel for 2 nights in Boston's Harvard Square area; transportation to and from airport in Boston; $200 spending money; photo session and tour of The New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram; and a DELTA Machinery tool autographed by Norm Abram. ARV: $5,000. No prize transfer, modification or cash substitutes allowed except at Sponsors' sole discretion due to prize unavailability for any reason and only then for prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes on prize are solely the responsibility of winner. Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. General: Neither Sponsors, nor their respective agencies, or affiliates are responsible for lost, late, damaged, destroyed, delayed, stolen, misdirected, incomplete entries, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer hardware or software or other technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online regardless of cause. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all entries affected by such methods and be deemed tampering. Entry data that has been tampered with or altered is void. In case of dispute as to identity of a winner, entry will be declared made by the registered user of the e-mail account, and, if a prize is won and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to the registered user. Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel/suspend/modify the online portion of the Sweepstakes if it becomes corrupted in any manner such that it cannot be conducted as originally planned and, in such event, to select winners by random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsors. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. The Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Publicity Release Form within three (3) business days of notification, except where prohibited by law. Noncompliance with this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. By participating, entrants release and agree to hold harmless Sponsors, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and the directors, officers, employees and agencies of any of the above entities from any liability whatsoever for any injuries, claims, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize or participation in the Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, winners (or winner's parent/legal guardian if any winner is deemed a minor in the state of his/her residence) agree that Sponsors, and their related and affiliated companies may use the winner's name, address (city, state), photograph, videotape, likeness, and/or prize information for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to winner relating to Sponsors, and their related and affiliated companies or to this Sweepstakes and grants to Sponsors and their related and affiliated companies any and all rights to said use without further notice and/or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prizes/offers or in the administration of the Sweepstakes. In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these Official Rules, participants agree that the dispute shall be resolved by applying the laws of Maryland, United States and that it shall be resolved within and by the courts of that state.
