This book was not written for...
This book was not written for the experienced wood worker. It was written for the experienced wood worker to teach youngsters about basic wood working with fun projects. Most kids don't know or care what Chippendale is. They do care about care about fun projects that do something! I teach wood working for my church a few times during the summer. I'll admit my ossified brain was having problems coming up with new projects that used only hand tools but weren't so involved as to bore the kids. This book gave me enough to work with for years to come. If you know a child, and you want them to get interested in wood working, this is the book to start with. I highly recommend this book.

Fun little book but I would...
Fun little book but I would say it's ages 6 and up. There is mostly coin shooters and rubberband actuated shooting toys in here. When my daughter gets older it should be fun. Maybe she'll want to shoot at her dolls or something?
