Quick & Easy Dowel Joints
This add-on to the basic 3/8" kit makes it easy to join 3/4" finished stock to make well aligned dowel joints. Follow kit instructions and you should have no problems. Also works well for using 1/4" dowels with one or two dowels per joint.

As good as its bigger brothers
This makes my Beadlock set complete. This smallest size looks a little scary (so many holes to drill) but I'm sure it will do as good a job as the other two sizes. Easy to setup and use, another great Rockler tool!

I have the set that includes the 3/8 and 1/2 sizes. I quite often cut down the 3/8 set to make them narrower. I thought the 1/4 might work better for some of the smaller needs.

Will this 1/4 in accessory kit work with the first/older version of the beadlock kit? The older version has two slots on the left side.

BEST ANSWER: I don't know. Sorry I can't help.
I have 3/8 inch mortise to cut in my project. Do you have?
Butch S on May 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I purchased a Beadlock system that came with a 3/8 and 1/4 inch ability. I found it works well and is rather simple. It's not the end all answer particularly if your wanting to join something away rom an edge. But a little practice and patience that may be doable. They also have a 1/2 option as well. Keep the dowels dry as they do swell. Keep in mind I am a novice but enjoy the challenge of something new. Good luck.
What is the minimum stock size that can be used with the 1/4” beadlock accessory kit? Thanks
Dan G on Sep 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Dan,
I am very sorry, but I can't answer that question; because I only used the block to repair three dinning room chair backs that my grandkids broke of my daughters dinning set. The material that I used it in was 0.0875" or 7/8" thick. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
However, the fix worked perfictly and the chairs are being used everyday.
Garry
I have to Beadlock Pro 3/8. Would like to have all three sizes, but I can't figure out what the shims in this set are for. Can someone tell me what those shims are for?
Walter A on Mar 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: beadLOCK is factory set to center tenon into stock. If an offset joint is desired, insert shim(s) between the block and plate.
