These sturdy plastic brackets are the perfect replacement for failing shelf brackets in my kitchen cabinets! The existing clear plastic brackets were failing after 10 years and I needed new ones. These fit perfectly.

Fit My Needs
I had the standard pegs supporting my wooden shelves for many years. Now that we have grandchildren visiting, my wife asked about some kind of locking support for the shelves. I looked at local stores, but nothing was available. I then went to my Rockler catalog and found them. They came quickly and work great. For them to work properly, you must have the length of the shelf within the limits of the locking clip. I recommend them.

Woodworking Experience:
shelf supports
What can I say about a shelf support. It took me years to find the right size, as I wasn't sure what they were called. Meantime I couldn't use a couple shelves because the ones I had broke and I didn't have spares. Thank you.

These are recommended for the project I’m working on, the “Closet Organizer” by one of the woodworking magazines, and I chose them for their excellent qualities of low cost, high durability, and excellent design. Turns out, they work real good, too!

I currently have pins holding the shelves and wanted to make them more secure. The locking supports will do that.
Daniel S on Apr 19, 2017
perfect for holding those cabinet shelves
Gary N on Apr 18, 2017
I'm using these pins because I have a kitchen project with the upper cabinets will not be installed in a corner. Instead the clients wants corner shelves between the two outer overhead cabinets. Therefore, I'm trying these shelf pins to see if the top of the pin will stabilize a hexagon shaped shelf with only four points of contact.

how to remove shelve from locking supports?
A shopper on Apr 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You press the tab near the top of the support and the shelf can lift up. If there are many locking supports, then you need to press several until the shelf starts to lift. Continue this until the entire shelf can be removed.
What is the length of the pin on the back?
