worked great!
Used these for a set of walnut cabinets built for our lake home. The brass looked good with the walnut, also recommend the Rockler jig for drilling the holes - a real lifesaver!

1/4 shelf supports
The supports are excellent using with the 1/4 template guide for adjustable shelves. One package contained a 5mm instead of the 1/4 support.

Do the antique brass pins contain lead which could cause birth defects and cancer ?
Craig W on Dec 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Probably if you buy the pads for these no friction so no lead dust. Unless you eat these, you'll be good. I do wish things could be made without all this toxic stuff.
I am wanting to use these in a pantry shelves. How much wait will these hold if used on all 4 corners of the shelves. Is there another size I should use?
Laurie H on Sep 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My purpose was to mount 2' closet shelves for sweaters and other soft goods. They work beautifully for that. I am not sure about a pantry - depending on weight. You might want to find one that is longer to support the bottom. The supports are sturdy - just short.
Do you guys carry nickel 1/4 inch shelf pins with cushions? The rubber cushion on the tip of the pins . Not the circular one .
Hector F on Feb 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hector, I purchased this type shelf pin and it does not have a rubber coat as it comes. I solved this by dipping the shelf platform area in plasticoat, a product designed for tool handles.
How many per package?
A shopper on Jul 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 16 per package
........so I take it these are not made of solid brass then ????
Ken G on Apr 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For the price they're asking I'm certain they're not solid brass. But they look good installed and perform well. I used them for shelving in a set of solid walnut kitchen cabinetry I built for our lake home. The brass looks good on the dark walnut. Rockler sells a jig to drill the holes and that was a lifesaver, highly recommended.
I'm looking for shelf brackets that will fit in a hole that is ever so slightly larger than 1/4". Is such an item available?
Jack C on Mar 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Try a a shelf pin "sleeve". They are 9/32"OD with a 1/4" hole. They come in different platings, IE: brass, antique brass, nickle and black. Other companies make 7mm shelf pins if you don't like the sleeves.
What weight do these shelf supports hold?
