Why did you choose this?
Rockler Store
I purchased one of the 4mm Click-N-Carve bits, so adding the adapter for my 1/4" chuck just made sense. I use it quite frequently and defintely has paid for itself in making bit changes easier and smoother.

I accidentally bought some router bits that were priced good, and failed to realize they were 4mm shanks. This will open up the opportunity to use more bits.

I have a Dewalt 611 router on the CNC machine. Bought some 2 flute 30 degree vbits, unaware they were 4mm. I have 1/4" and 1/8 collets for other bits, and need to know of this adapter will work? Any help is appreciated.

BEST ANSWER: This collet adapter will allow you to run 4mm bits in your 1/4(.250") chuck/collet with no problems. Make sure that you fully insert the bits shaft into the adapter and make sure you tighten your collet when using this adapter so you do not get have the bit wander when your using it in your machine.
I am looking for a collet to go in my 1/4 inch router that I can put a 1/8 inch router bit into?

BEST ANSWER: This collet is too large or a standard 1/8" It is for metric bits of 4mm. 1/'" is 3.175. if Rockler does not have one try the internet. I think I got mine from Amana, but not sure
