Like no other abrasive you've seen before—roll it into a thin straw, fold it multiple times with virtually zero creasing, or wrap it around a tightly contoured sanding block.

The rubbery film backing on 3M's Pro Grade Precision Ultra Flexible Sanding Sheets results in an abrasive that you can roll, fold, twist, and shape into whatever form you need. The ultra-flexible sheets can easily wrap around a small radius without rebounding or memory, and the rubbery backing won't slip, making it ideal for use on contour sanding blocks like the Rockler Contour Sanding Grips (#54412, sold separately). Highly resistant to punctures, tears and creases, the abrasive lasts up to 15X longer* than conventional paper-backed sandpaper. May be used wet or dry, and can be easily rinsed and reused. May be cut to smaller sizes with a scissors. Anti-load coating for long life. Simply tear along the perforation to separate the sheets. *Based on backing life during hand sanding when compared to 3M conventional sandpaper of comparable grit.

360 grit sanding sheets
I used this product as part of a restoration project on a piano bench and was very pleased with both its effects on fine finish as well as durability.

Best for Finishing Sanders
I purchased a pack of this sandpaper and used on my finishing sander. The paper held up the best I have ever used and it never ripped once in all of the time I have used it. I really holds up great! Peter H.

Multitude of uses
I use this to sand with my sanding contour grips as well as sanding contours I make for special application. The material does a great job and last a surprisingly long amount of time. Very good value for the money, if only they would make it in even finer grits. Hint!

REALLY WORKS!
I always hated sanding and hated sandpaper. When I finally ran out of old stock and needed to buy more, I thought I'd spend a bit extra and try the 3M Pro 320 and 150 grades. WOW! I don't know about using this on painted surfaces, but on bare wood (1/2" & 3/4" baltic birch BB grade plywood) the 320 sands through wood like the old 150 but leaves the surface smoother than the old 400. Amazing stuff. I've caught the sanding block on sharp edges and torn the paper a few times but it really takes a ton of sanding to wear this stuff out. Just give it a quick scrub with your bench brush and keep sanding and sanding and sanding. It's still a chore to sand out imperfections, scratches and saw blade chipping, but at least I can do it with half the time and effort. From my experience with this product on bare wood, I fully recommend it.

Great flexible product but sure wish they would bring back the 320 grit rolls or large packets of these sheets. 4 isn't enough!

What is the base grit on the backing?
Paul R on Jul 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No grit on the backing. The grit on front is listed on the package. This is a great product that lasts longer than regular sandpaper. And being and being able to twist into shapes to get into tight spots is a real plus!
What sanding block do you use with this sanding paper?
Mary B on Jul 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If you tear apart on the perforations you get 4 - 6 x 3.5" sheets, not quite enough to wrap onto a typical rubber block sander and reach the block's "nail" holders. But, you can use just about anything from a block of wood, rubber, cork, felt or a rigid Styrofoam. It is very flexible and will wrap around any shape you wish.
