Does its job. Handy if you need something like this.
This engineer's square is decent value for money. If you need one, you could do a lot worse than buy this. The only question is, do you need one if you already have a combination square? My answer is yes. I constantly reach for it when my combination square is set up for some other job. It's particularly handy for checking that my table saw blade is set correctly.

Excellent little square. Very true.
Perfect little square. Verified it accurate. I now keep it on my tool tray on my Powermatic cabinet saw on the right side of my fence.

Just works
It is a square. It is square. It seems to last okay. Not the greatest tool to transfer measurements around corners, but that is inherent in the design. This tool goes with me everywhere in the shop, can't imagine not having it close by.

Squared Away
This little square is just right for setting up my tools, fences etc. , just what I needed and the price was just right. The only draw back is that it doesn't bounce well if you drop it.

The squares I have found in the market are not accurate - I see a deviation from right angle. I hope this one is at a perfect right angle.

Does this square give an accurate 90 degree angle?
Darrell S on Aug 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Well, that's the whole point. It's not as flexible in use as a combination square, but precisely because it is fixed at a 90° angle it is very accurate.
What brand is it?
New User U on Aug 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There are absolutely no markings on it but it is easily as well made as any square made by the reputable companies. I have used it for quite some time and it works great. I will say, it appears to be stainless steel from the picture but it is not........and it does rust down here in Florida. A light steel wooling and a quick spray of silicon keeps it for months.
What's the difference between a engineers square and a trip square ????
Art K on Feb 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: There is such a thing as an engineer's square, but there's no such thing as a trip square.
