This package includes three All-in-One Clamp Guide lengths (24'', 36'' and 50'') for use with a variety of panel sizes. The guides are rigid, lightweight, and have almost no deflection for the straightest possible cut lines. They feature a low-profile design with no obstructions that would interfere with the path of your tools. They make great straight-edge saw guides, router guides, measuring tools, marking aids and, of course, clamps. Expertly engineered, they are easy to attach and to adjust—just close the four-position locking lever, and you're ready to go.

All-In-One Clamp Guides:

  • A straight edge guide that's simple to adjust
  • Integral clamping jaws and locking lever provide a quick, easy way of clamping the guide
  • Four lever positions for variable clamping strength
  • Two clearly labeled scales in 1/8'' graduations
  • Wide body construction (2-1/2'') adds beam strength for added stability
  • Low-profile design and flat top for bearing-guided routing applications
  • Built-in T-track on top of the guide allows you to use any of our versatile accessories or shop-made jigs
  • Create your own shooting board for routing or cutting with the circular saw

Notes:

  • These are ''C Series'' or Contractor series clamps with a lower profile. "A Series" accessories will not work with these
  • To engage the jaw the first few times, the "I"-shaped blue finger-grip MUST be pushed snug against the sliding jaw for the jaw to lock. Squeeze together until it clicks. Then push the finger-grip AWAY from the jaw to unlock the sliding jaw

just what I was expecting.
Sometimes one might not get what you were expecting. Not the case with Rockler, I have order twice now and both times product has exceeded my expectations.

Amazing tool for the hobbyist carpenter!
WOW!! What a product!
As a novice carpenter, I have struggled to work with sheets of plywood and often settled for less than desirable results due to inaccurate cuts. Whether using a table saw or the clamped piece of "straight wood" I seldom achieved the precision I desired and would have to find ways to mask or hide my blemishes. That is, until I found the CW99 clamp. Using this tool, I can lay out a sheet of 3/4 plywood and easily make unassisted, precise cuts to any squared dimension. A great tool for the hobbyist cabinet maker on a budget.

AMAZING!
I love these clamps! I use them in about every project I work on. They have provided me with the clamping pressure and joint alignment I needed and hold the material very securely. The low profile jaws are handy when working with face frame or building cabinets on the bench. I would recommend these to every woodworker!

Great clamps
These are a great set of clamps for making straight cuts with a circular saw. I do use a square with the clamps to ensure a square cut. Needed to spay dry lube on slide bar to get smooth operation. Would recommend these.

Decent straight edge but, crappy clamping mechanism
I regret buying these clamps. They are a pain to adjust and frustrating to keep clamped down. I usually end up using separate clamps to hold them down since adjusting them to fit tightly to your material is time consuming and very annoying. I do not recommend them.

Great idea but not executed well
Great idea and worked well initially. Unfortunately the slide bar underneath, which does the clamping, is made of too soft steel gets nicked up each time it is used. These nicks make it difficult to adjust the next time which can result in the clamp moving during use, ruining the work piece. Love the Rockler products generally but this one was poorly executed.

I use the Festool saw guide at work, but did not want to spend the big bucks for that system, so I purchased this to be able to do the same thing in my home shop with the saw plate.

I like to do project but I do not have the room for a table saw to cut sheets of wood. I have to use spare boards to use as a straight edge. I knew there were guides out there but they didn't seem like they were of good quality.
Since I have become familiar with Rockler, I now know good stuff. Plus on sale,,, Mary Christmas.

I needed a straight edge to attach to plywood sheets for straight-line cutting with my circular saw. These seem less clunky and more accurate than the piece of oak trim attached with C-clamps that I used previously for the same purpose.

how do these work?
Joe H on May 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Note, included owners manual for the clamps has pictures showing how to operate with parts clearly labeled. It also shows photo of clamp parts with labels & accessories like wide jaws, tall jaws, saw plate etc..
Can these link together?
SMWood on May 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'm sorry but these cannot be linked. They do offer a 99" long clamp #34209
If I am crosscutting a 13 in board will the 24" clamp work?
Roswell E on Nov 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Actually, you can use any one of the three sizes, it's just easier to handle the 24" long version to use as a fence to make that crosscut. Hope this helps.
Can you connect all 3 guides together for longer length?
Steve R on May 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These cannot be joined together. We do, however, have a much longer version that is 99". it is item #34209
