Amana Tool Solid Carbide Spektra 3 or 4-Flute Up-Cut Spiral CNC Carving Router Bit

Specially designed for 2D and 3D CNC carving in plastic and wood, these bits feature high-shear ball nose tips for smooth contours with reduced stepping. The proprietary Spektra coating (applied by the PVD/physical vapor deposition coating process) reduces friction and heat buildup for exceptional durability and sharpness. Due to their small diameters, chip loads and feed rates should be reduced, and a blast of air to keep chips clear will improve performance. Withstands up to 60,000 RPM. For plastics, a suggested starting spindle speed might be 18,000 RPM, but the programmer will need to experiment and adjust to find an acceptable finish.
