Exterior Barn Door Hangers & Tracks

Classic roller hardware will give an "old style" look to your home, carriage house, or barn! Doors will slide open easily with the sturdy heavy-duty hangers and track. The track and hangers are also easy to install. You will need both the brackets and the track pack for your door.

Steel Track & Bracket

Your 6' long steel track will come with 7 brackets and can be used with any of the door hangers above.

Hangers

The hangers come in packs of 2 and will fit with the track above. You will need to acquire fasteners that suit your door thickness and type so those are sold separately.

Can these doors be easily lifted off the tracks once installed? I'm concerned about security in my neighbourhood and I want to install barn doors on my shed but I don't want vandals getting easy access by pulling the doors off.

Are there any smaller rollers? For an interior, carved door, would like hardware to be unobtrusive.

do the large barn door hanger set come large enough to hang 12 ft doors?
Pat W on Dec 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The hanger is big enough - but the rail is only six feet. You will need a 24 ft rail, so you would need to weld the rails or get a longer one elsewhere. The problem is that you cannot buy the spacers separately, so if you buy the rail elsewhere you need the spacers.

We used the medium size for a 10 ft door and two 6 ft rails from Rockler and an 8 ft rail from snugcottagehardware which came with 9 spacers. The whole setup works great - you can slide the door with one finger.
My door weigh almost 300 pounds each. Will this hanger and track work for my application?

What gauge steel are you using for the track and wheels (thickness)? And what kind of bearings if any are there in the wheels? Thanks.
