Would recommend this company. Shipped early. Very pleased
Works well. Sturdy. Strong enough to support a 3-5 lb board. Easy for my maintenance man to install although no instructions included; nice gold tone.

I was cramped for space so I made a door to match my drawer fronts and then installed the Drop Front Hinges onto the door and voila, a desk.

Best one I found
I wanted to replace the drop front support on a side by side cabinet, the ones at my local hardware would not work properly and I could not find a good replacement on the internet until I found your site. I installed both a right and left support because the desk is being used daily, they work great and they are an exact copy of the old one that was removed.

Finish could be a little better, but product functioned well. It was used along with a right side drop front support on a wall mounted box to secure a computer in the lobby of a major hospital.

These are very poor quality. I am returning left & right supports for credit. The finish is extremely poor and the metal gauge is very thin.

I want to simulate an oven for my daughter's mini-kitchen and need a hinge that will serve as the over door hinge ; if it locks such that she has a hard time opening it, it's no good. It doesn't necessarily have to lock but it does not to be rugged in case she decides to put weight on it. Door opens 90 degrees. Please advise?

BEST ANSWER: These will work very well and she will not have a problem opening or closing and they will hold weight.

BEST ANSWER: I used on a 10” face and works good
Does this hinge come in antique brass?
D C on Aug 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The only color that I have found is what is shown in Tickler. I used to get them in silver from home town hardware but he no longer Carries them
I have a very shallow box (depth of about 1") that I want to attach a hinge to it so that it will remain open at a 180 degrees. Can it be attached in this narrow depth? Will this work?
SUSAN K on Apr 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think you can. The critical dimensions are the depth of the hinge as compared to the box. You are very close to that dimension so pay close attention. The other dimension to check on is the length of the hinge. If you make the minimums on those two measures, I think you are good to go.
What weight will it support? My drop down is 41X22 and is 3/4 birch ply
Chuck S on Dec 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't know the loaded weight the front support will hold, but I am sure more the your door is strong. I thing the weakest part of the assembly would be the holding force of the screws into the wood door. In either case remember the hinge carries a good percentage of the downward weight as well. My door is about 12 x 36 x 3/4 pine and when open I rest my power tools batteries on it. If your not quite sure, I would side on safety and use two supports.
how do you install?
tim w on Oct 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I set the door opening that I want 1st. then with the support opened all the way I place the single holed pivot end on the cabinet wall and attach. Then its simply screw on the other end where it sits. just like in the Rockler catalog picture.
What is the overall length of the support? I have a box that the depth is 6"
Eagle Eye on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The over-all length (bolt hole center to hole center) of the "drop back support" is about 10", I have mine mounted on the left side the cabinet about 4" in from the door opening and 5" up from the bottom in my cabinet. With the door open and parallel to the cabinet bottom, the other end of the "drop front support" is mounted about 5" out from the door of the hinge end. Mounted like this allows for enough clearance for the support to collapse when the door in closed.
can it be used with inset lids ?
A shopper on Jun 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I see no reason why not.
