Surprisingly useful
I was a little skeptical, but decided to try them out when they were on sale. They have a great grip, however, and are much easier to use than a router pad.

I need a dozen more of these! Definitely need to buy the grippers and cones together to get the full benefits of keeping your work elevated and stable. The cones allow you to flip the piece over and paint or stain on both sides. Don’t press down too hard on the workpiece when using the cones when painting or staining as it will leave intentions in the wood esp. softer woods like pine or cedar.

I really did not know if these would work, but after using them I would recommend them to anybody. They work as advertised unlike so many products.

After finishing a recent project, I realized I needed something like this to keep the pieces elevated while applying stain and top coat. I also wanted something that wasn’t going to slide around my workbench and this looked like a good option.

Henry D on Oct 28, 2019
Great concept but I stopped using the cones because they put large impressions in my work. So how do you avoid the cones that have points on them from making marks in your work? I invested in them and would like to use them. Is there an updated cone design to fix this problem?
Eric A on Dec 28, 2016
What is the weight limit of the bench cookies? Looking to hold furniture while painting.
Wendi on Apr 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't know what the weight limit is, but I use these to hold a book case that I was finishing and one of the plastic sleeves busted otherwise I think they're a good product. I don't think they're rated for projects such as furniture.
