Bench Dog® Cast Iron Router Table, Pro Fence and Plate
Bench Dog® Cast Iron Router Table, Pro Fence and Plate

If you're after the ultimate router table top—the pinnacle of size, stability, and durability—look no further than the Bench Dog Cast Iron Router Table. At 24'' x 32'' x 1-1/2'', the Bench Dog Cast Iron Router Table is the largest, flattest and most durable option on the market. And with this package, it's one of the best values too! Weighing in at nearly 100 lbs, the one-piece top provides more than five square feet of ultra-flat work surface. Its 12-point plate-leveling/locking system guarantees a flush working area and keeps the heavy-duty aluminum router plate secure while cutting. Plus, you get Bench Dog's 32'' ProFence, a precision-milled aluminum fence with two MDF sub-fences, T-tracks on both sides, a 2-1/2'' dust port and an integrated bit guard.

Features:
  • Table top built from one solid piece of 1-1/2'' thick cast iron to absorb vibration better than any table on the market
  • Features dual-track with standard miter track and universal T-track which accepts 1/4'' T-bolts, 5/16'' T-bolts and 1/4'' hex bolts
  • Heavy-duty one-piece aluminum fence frame is fully machined on the front and bottom surfaces, ensuring the ProFence is flat, true and square
  • MDF sub-fences adjust without tools, perfect for zero-clearance setup
  • ProFence includes heavy-duty bit guard and dust port on the back of the fence
  • ProFence also features EZ-Load Universal T-tracks that accept 1/4'' and 5/16'' T-bolts as well as 1/4'' hex bolts - perfect for hold-downs, stops and other accessories such as featherboards
  • Recommended for use with the Rockler Steel Router Cabinet with Dust Bucket (#41427, sold separately) or the Rockler Router Table Steel Stand (#48426, sold separately).

A little disappointed
Everything arrived on time and was packaged very well. The fence was perfect as was the pro plate. The disappointment was the cast iron table. Unfortunately it was not perfectly flat thus the plate could not fit flush on all the sides and corners. Checking the flatness from front to back and right to left it seemed perfect but when checking diagonally from upper right to lower left there was about 3/32 of space from level. There is no way this could be compensated with the perfectly level plate.

I like cast iron vs mdf or phenolic router tables.
V M on Nov 25, 2017
I've replaced my home-made router table top several times. The humidity warps of the my previous versions regardless how I engineer the supports. I've decided to spend the money and be done with this issue for all times. I've used it for almost a month and I've had nothing but perfect routing from the first cut to the last. No more wasting a lot of wood getting the cut just right while having to compensate for the warp of the table and the wood.

I want to leave my 2-3/4 hp. router attached to the table. Now I don't have to worry about the table warping.

I have a Jessem Mastrlift . Will it fit in this table? It looks very similar to the rocker lift. The weight of the router and lift combined caused my laminate table to sag over the last 5 years.
Rob H on Jul 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The plate on the lift needs to be 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" to fit in this table.
Can the table be mounted to a Kreg router table stand?
Mike F on Sep 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I had to use corner brackets that I got from Rockler to attach my Bench Dog router table to my Rockler router stand, If the mounting holes do not line up on the Kreg stand, I would think that these brackets would also work.
Great Router Table! I am wondering what was used to create the smooth finish on top? It seems to last a long time. My table is over 3 years old and still looks new.
