Smooth and easy
Being new to cabinet /desk making these guides were super easy to install, having Rockler's installation tool helped a great deal, but will surely buy these again.

Keybnoard Tray
I have a computer desk with a sliding keyboard/mouse tray. The original slides gave up the ghost.

This new set of slides are a perfect fit even though they are a bit longer than the originals. They screwed right in, now the tray slides like it should.

Replacement for what should have been original.
Builder supplied cabinets had light duty slides on drawers that are 34"x20"x10" deep. Need I say more but lasted 15 years. Drawers had to be closed from the center only or would want to come out of the track. Replacements are much heavier duty.

Mainly because of weight capacity and price. Local cabinet company wanted $84/pr (over $500 for a 3-drawer cabinet!!). Just couldn't do that to my clients. Thank god for the internet!

How deep can my drawer be for 18" Epoxy-coated Blum track (34850)?
Marvin G on Dec 12, 2017
I need a zero clearance drawer slide, self closing ?
A shopper on May 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It sounds like you need undermount drawer slides. All of the side mount ones require 1/2" clearance on each side.
shallow pantry drawer 21 deep 32 wide-contractor used cheap hardware and now my drawers keep falling out of the track. Adjusting the side rails is not helping. I know the Blum hardware is heavier duty with better rollers but will they handle the weight and operate well? I tend to overload shelves with a lot of canned goods and my old hardware is NOT holding up. My definition of a pantry unit is just that, a pantry.
Linda W on Dec 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've used Blum hardware successfully, but on lighter projects. Rocker also offers Centerline hardware rated for 35#, 75# and 100# capacity. The drawer slides are full extension and seem to work great. I used them on a comic book cabinet that holds thousands of comic books and they seem to operate smoothly without any "sagging". Full extension is great also, for those hard to reach cans of corn in the back of your pantry! Good luck.
is this rail 14 in and 3/4 long?
luis c on Sep 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The rail is always shorter than the actual number that they say. Example: The 14" is approximately 13 13/16
do the rollers use ball bearings? The ones I am trying to replace spin freely for a long time (ball bearings) but other replacement slides seem to have plain bearings. I'm concerned about wear with a heavy drawer (full of silverware).
Ralph S on Jan 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These slide have ball bearing rollers and should work OK for a silverware drawer. If you're concerned about the weight, I would go with full extension drawer slides.
how much space does the drawer actually take up?
Cole S on Oct 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Need more information to answer, "space" in which direction? If you are asking about the drawer slide and not the drawer itself, the drawer slides are each about 1/2" wide, so the face frame or cabinet opening must be at least 1" wider than the drawer.
how many "pair" of drawer slides do I need to install one drawer?
G P on Aug 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: One pair (1). One pair is 2 slides, One for the left side and one for the right side.
Jim K.
Are these slides self (soft) closing?
Rodger C on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are not soft-closing like the more expensive ball bearing slides. They are self-closing, in that if you bring the drawer to within about a couple inches of being closed, it will pull it in the rest of the way.
I built a cabinet where the outside edge of the face frame rail to the 3/4" brace in the rear is 23". Can I make the 22" slide with the rear socket fit?
Mike R on Jan 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey Mike,
The slides should fit, but while they are rated for 100 lbs, I wouldn't go near that weight with the rear sockets. I used to do the rear socket installation but found that I got better support and easier installation by installing fillers along the inside of the cabinets to come out flush with the faceframe.
Will drawer slides from Blum (#34835) work with Accuride shelf standard slide brackets (#35693)?
Kathy S on Jul 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have mixed brands of drawer slides that have the same design. All worked well.
how do you adjust the Blum® Low-Profile 3/4 Extension Epoxy Coated Drawer Slides?
Sue R on Feb 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I followed the the dimensions on the print that was supplied with the slides and they functioned properly with no adjustment nessesary.
Is the 12" drawer length model 34827 a side mount unit ? Do I need 2 pairs or is 1 pair at $5.49 sufficient for 1 drawer?
Roger C on Sep 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is a side mount unit. You only need 1 pair per drawer.
Is this Drawer Runner the Blum 230M Series? I have the Blum Minifixtool from a previous project and would like to use it again for an upcoming cabinet project - it makes the drawer runner installation so much easier!
Thanks, Brian Lynch.
Brian L on Oct 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Sorry, I can't help you. I never used the Minifixtool. I made my own guides to help instal the drawer runners.
I am looking for a jig to install drawer slides The under the drawer type. Blum used to produce a good one but I can't find that type anymore. Can you help me?
Terry M on Mar 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Rockler has great Jigs for Blum drawer slides. I make cabinets and furniture, they work great. Contact customer support to make sure you get the right one.
My drawer box not including the face of the drawer is 18” deep (17” inside the box) and I do have 1/2 clearance on each side. what size Blum drawer slides would you recommend I order? 16 or 18”?
Sandy V on Dec 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 18"...if you go with 16" slides, you lose 2" of access in your drawers. The way to handle that is to go with full-extension slides
Where can I get these in a 27 3/8" length? I have a garbage/recycling drawer that had these in this length and I need to replace them. I can't find them anywhere. Are they no longer made?
Maria Pontones on Jul 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you open the spec sheet linked in the description you will see 26" ones, part number 230M6500, but it appears that Rockler does not stock them.
Do the Blum drawer slides include the rear mount socket?
Alan B on Oct 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: no, rear mounting sockets are sold separately http://www.rockler.com/blum-mounting-sockets
What is the minimum Top Clearance for the drawer box to allow drawer removal ? The data sheet shows 2 different values - 5/8” and 9/16”, and both of these have the note that these values are for “tilting to remove is not desired”.
