    Nice sander
I got this sander for finishing some ash tables. Works great with excellent dust collection. Light weight too. Here's a short video review of the sander:

Nice sander. Had a Porter Cable. like the grip on the Bosch. The dust collection works pretty good. The vibration is minimal compared to the Porter Cable.

Palm Grip Sander very good tool
I have worn out my other sanders so this was needed for my tool bag and is a good fit for my hand. I like the feel, control, and dust collection feature that was lacking on the others I had. Quality brand!

    great tool
I used this sander to sand my treated lumber front porch floor. It got the job done very quickly, with a great finish, using 80 grit discs. Little to no vibration from the sander, and the sanding discs lasted for a very long time. I wish I had purchased this sander years ago. It is my first choice for sanding jobs from now on.

    Excellent choice
Not the cheapest, not the smallest, but it is very smooth to operate. My previous Porter Cable vibrated a lot more - I had to use anti-vibration gloves. Time will tell, but this one feels pretty sturdy too.

    Great bargain
This is my first random orbital and, with the time I'm saving, I wonder why I waited so long. This has been a great little machine!

Love this little sander. It hooks...
Love this little sander. It hooks up to my shop vac and I can sand in the house without creating dust.

    Great but for . . .
I love this sander pretty much down the line. It really does the job well, is very tough, and well designed. I just can't stand the micro-dust collector and would much rather have an easily removable bag. The dust collection module not easy to remove from the sander and prying the cover off is even worse. I guess if I was sanding indoors and didn't have a shop vac attached, I'd appreciate the fine dust collection, but I'm either outside or have a vac attached. When outside, the bag is the way to go.

Contractor from hell did my bedroom floor the morning of my move and said the floor was dry. It wasn't and I have scratches where the polyurethane came up. Can I use this to sand it even?
    Soraida V on Apr 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you're talking about a few scratches, I would not sand. Rather, I would wait until its' completely dry then use a touch-up brush with polyurethane to carefully fill in the scratches...it might take several applications to fill in the scratches completely, If the floor was stained with color, use the same stain on the scratches and wipe off excess, then let the stain dry before applying the poly. You will make it worse if you try to sand out a large area with an electric sander unless you're planning to do the whole floor again.
does this sander have a variable speed control?
    RANDY M G on Aug 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, it does not.
