Easy to use this router in a Dovetail jig.
The router power is switched on and off using the handles-no trying to find an on and off switch. A built in light helps to keep control. This is an ideal router in my Delta Dovetail jig. Power cord length was ideal.

If this is a fixed base router why does the description talk about its plunge features?
Rick C on Nov 29, 2017
That specific question can only be answered by Bosch.

If you want to know if it's a fixed base router, or plunge base...mine is fixed.

can you use this router to make raised panel doors ?
Mitchell S on Jan 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes if mounted in a router table. The router bits are too large in diameter to safely use this router freehand.
