They are a well balanced fairly robust
Design. They look great, and the hurled knob is large enough to be useful.. They will accent ANYTHING you do with more class....carlos

Sewing machine parts from Rockler besides veneer!
I used this knurled brass knob to replace the stitch length regulator adjuster on my 1868 Stockwell-Howe sewing machine. It looks to be a dead ringer for the original and works like a charm. Oddly, Rockler was the ONLY one of my many suppliers that had this .... a simple, brass knurled adjusting screw. BRAVO!!

It fits the project well
I bought the 1" version.
I'm going through some 3/4 inch stock and use this as a friction lock adjustment. I wish I had bought the longer ones since loosening it to allow sliding easily goes too far allowing the shaft to come out of the insert.

These look nice in the project.

I'd like to use these brass knobs in jig making but am really struggling to find a 1/4-20 tap and die. Anybody know where they can be had.?
recipio on Nov 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you all ! I forgot to say I'm outside the US so am reliant on mail order.I have sourced a set of DeWalt taps and dies commonly used in the US . Now to get the jig components.
