does this unit have a self-locking on switch to allow the use in a router table with auxilary emergency on/off switch?

BEST ANSWER: I bought this router along with a table and a foot switch. While I am not home to check it out, it must be a locking on/off switch on the router as I was using the foot switch to turn it on and off while trimming pieces of plywood.
The router funtion on 240 v?

BEST ANSWER: Regular 110 volt unit with soft start feature and adjustable speed. Very good in between router. When you need something bigger than a trim router and smaller than a 3 horsepower monster.
Does this router have a dust collection for dovetail use?

BEST ANSWER: Not that I’m aware of. I use mine on a router table. It has dust collection built into the fence.

BEST ANSWER: I do not use dust collection on my routers. Wish I had a way...it gets messy
Please advise if your DW616 is not the same as DW618.
