what is the depth of the wood side rails?
Martha M on Dec 28, 2015
How much weight will this support? We want to put cans, and we sometimes stack the cans.
A shopper on Jun 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: A lot depends on how wide the shelf will be. There is no support under the shelf other than the floor itself, which is fairly strong. The slides are the basic standard 2 roller slides. So if you are thinking of loading it up with full cans in a pantry, it might be too much for it. I use it in the laundry room and it will support large size laundry detergent gallon jugs and the such, but I only have about a 14 inch width shelf. Overall, for the price they work great for my application. You could beef them up with heavy duty slides like Blum.
Does this work with Pullout Kit 27099, the 20 inch?
A shopper on Jun 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is a self contained kit, but it does not include the shelf bottom nor the mounting sockets nor the cross members. The 27099 kit is not required or needed with the 32814 kit. Be aware that some woodworking skills will be required, !/4 thick plywood and 1 x 3 pine lumber. These can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowe's. I hope this helps.
I see a 'slide/hardware' kit for 22" shelves but have not found a kit for 20" shelves. Do you make one?
Cameron R on Aug 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You can cut 2”off each 22” guide to make a 20” guide.
I have shelves in my cabinnet. Do I have to remove the shelf?
Anna T on Aug 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes any shelf that you want to pull out will have to be removed, unless you are looking to add a shelf in between existing shelves. If if you are adding in between shelves you may find the space very tight to work in.

show a skematic how does it install ?
Carl L on Nov 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't have a schematic but maybe a description would help.
Short rail with dovetail grooves is front.
Tall rail with dovetail grooves is back.
Two matches rails with dovetails are the right and left sides.
The slides are stamped with:
DR, this goes on right side of drawer
DL, left side of drawer
CR attaches inside cabinet right side
and CL inside cabinet left side.

After cutting the pieces to the correct width for your cabinet you can either attach the cabinet slides to the front of the cabinet and use the plastic brackets to attach the slides to the back of the cabinet. Or I cut a strip of wood and attached it down the inside of the cabinet then attached the cabinet rails to this.
I hope this helps. I would have sent pictures but I am not able to figure out how to do this.
to mount these slides to side wall of cabinet, should a board be applied to allow the slides to pass beyond front lip of cabinet?
Steve on Jun 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you would have to fill the gap between the side wall of the cabinet and the edge of the opening. When I installed this set, I fastened the front of the slides to the inside of the cabinet opening and the back of the slides to the back cabinet wall.
