Dust Bucket is a winner!
The Dust Bucket was easy to assemble and very proved to be very well made. Installation into my home made router table with Rockler router table top was quick and progressed without problem.
The operation of the Dust Bucket during the routing of a scrap piece of wood was exceptional in that all of the debris from the operation was collected in its interior. I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Works on Ridgid R4512 with Benchdog cast iron router table.
This serves it purpose well. Routed around 5 bf of pine with an ogee bit just to test the dust collection. Using my 2 1/2 hp dust collector there was not a stitch left inside the dust bucket. Great addition to my router setup! Would highly recommend.
Mounted on a Ridgid R4512
3 1/2 hp Milwaukee router with INCRA/JessEm Mast-R-Lift has plenty of room.

I just built custom kitchen cabinets not having the dust collection system, had a big mess in my router cabinet and the router motor was running warmer than it should, so I ordered Rocklers dust collection system and could not be happier that I did. No more mess and router motor runs cooler, great product.
Home made router table.
Best thing I could add to my router table, helps keep the router motor clean and cooler running.

Robert D on Feb 23, 2016
I built my own router base cabinet. This kit saved me from having to enclose the router and make dust ports and vents for proper dust collection. In use, it allows for quick access to adjust the router, while keeping the drawers below free from dust as debris. Even if you mounted your router in the open. for instance on a table saw it will keep your work area clean, and remove almost all of the dust from the air. I highly recommend it.

Mounted this to my Bench Dog ProStand router table stand. Had to create a frame mounted to the top of the stand to mount it. Used 1x4's to make the frame. The Bench Dog ProStand is the same as a Rockler stand. Really nice to have for dust collection. A must add to any router table.

If this requires a 4" dust collection system, why does it come with a 2-1/2" hose?
Walt M on Dec 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 2-1/2" hose goes from the top of the T fitting to above the router table to also collect dust at the router bit. A 4" hose from the dust collector hooks to the back of the T to supply vacuum to the dust bucket and at the bit.

I would like to install a Wixley digital readout to my Rockler FX lift which is mounted inside the Dust Bucket, Is there any indications of problems with the digital readout being effected by the Dust Bucket?
Dan C on Jul 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You may not be able to route the cable at a distance that would not cause interference with readout calibration due to limited space inside of the Dust Bucket. Also, the sensor is not dirt tight in open air, not to mention any issues that could occur with th air pressures involved with a good air collection system.

Instructions attaching router dust bucket?

I have installed the dust collection box under my rockler pro table and am trying to use the porter cable router 892. I have found on my initial installation that I can't fully release the clamp of the router holder under the table. It hits the top of the box opening. I am wondering if I misaligned the box to the underside of the table so the router wasn't center or needs to be off center other than my installment to get the needed clearance?
Martin on Mar 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yeah, you may have to take it off and fiddle with it some. I mounted mine under a Kreg PRS1045 table and squeezed in a big Triton 3-1/4HP that I picked up on a good sale from Rockler. First I had to build an oak frame and seal it to the table and the Bucket, to drop it down far enough to allow the Bucket to clear the steel reinforcing struts that Kreg has underneath to keep the table flat. But the location of the router adjustment/controls led me to position it for easy access relative to the Bucket door opening. That led to me reversing the assembly of the Bucket (when looking to the front, mine opens from the right and the vent is on the left). It all worked out very nicely, and I'd do it again the same way - it captures most of the dust and chips when hooked up to a 1-1/2 HP dust collector/chip separator - don't even bother trying it with a ShopVac or Festool Dust extractor - not enough CFM by a long shot. . I also have a shop-built router table with an Incra Ultra Jig and Wonder fence with a 3-1/4HP Freud in it. For that table I constructed a dust box that is a hybrid of the one that Matt Kenny showed on the Fine Woodworking website, and the Incra dust box design plans that they give away on their website - it really works great, but I prefer the Dust Bucket - I find the adjustable vent very handy and like the sophistication of the piano hinged door - and it just looks good.
Question for Jason I have the same setup, a Rigid 4512and benchdog cast router top. Where and how did you attach the wood piece that you screwed the dust bucket too? I don't see too much under there to drill or tap into. Thanks, Michael
