Best tape measure I’ve ever owned. Covers imperial inches and feet, metric and true 32 which ice just started to use and makes cabinet building much easier and much easier to plan. Highly recommend.

Well designed and useful
I ordered this only because I needed a tape that included metric units. I was pleasantly surprised at the thoughtful design. It's compact. It locks automatically on extension, you press to retract- the opposite of other tapes I have. The built in pencil sharpener is a useful addition. The built in notepad is a useful addition.

Great little tape with heavy duty case and graduated markings that are easy to read. The scratch pad on the side is great for quick notes. The slender width belies its ability to stretch out over eight feet without falling off. Would definitely buy this tape again but it feels like one would have to lose it rather than it wearing out. Enjoy.

Allows easy conversion for us metrically challenged
Am learning cabinet refacing and learned it is ofter easier to measure in metric rather than remembering sixteenths and thirty-seconds!

We will see if it works...

Not a heavy duty tape but perfect for a shop and fine carpentry.

I think in metric
I'm excited that a metric ruler is available. As a scientist in my "day job", I tend to think in metrics and so imperial measure has been difficult for me to adapt to - but with a metric tape measure, things just got better

I am very happy with the product.
This is the only tape measure the has inches and mm on the same tape that I was able to find anywhere, that was of an extended length. I am building a boat that is detentioned in mm. But I am more comfortable with inch measurements.

To do cabinet calculations and measurements with Blum instructions.

I build cabinets and counters and I found that the metric system is much more accurate but unfortunately I still have to deal with standard measurements so I needed a good tape measure with both metric and standard measurements on it.

I have wasted many cut lumber because of being left handed, and trying to read upside down. Will this tape measure take care of my problem?
John E on Apr 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: John I believe your problem can be solved by a Fastcap product, but it is slightly different item you want. You want the Lefty/Righty tape, which has a green body. The yellow is a metric/standard tape that reads in the normal (for right handers!) way. I own both and almost never use anything but the Lefty/righty, but not because I'm left handed, but because it works upside down or right side up from either direction! Hope this helps.
