At the router table of table saw these can keep your fingers away from bits and blades while firmly holding work pieces in a horizontal orientation.

Feather board
This is a must for your table saw. It helps in keeping the board against the fence while cutting. Both hands are used to handle your work better.

I bought 2 ea of 2 sizes of this featherboard, when correctly positioned they keep my workpiece solidly against the fence and the table top, insuring accurate cuts.

I recently purchased a table saw and found it difficult to hold boards down and against the fence to make accurate cuts. These feather boards should solve the problem.

I have a router fence that is 4 inches high, I made myself for building frames. What is the maxium height this featherboard will ajust to?
koonass on Jun 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The feather board has a 1-1/2" range of adjustment. Depending upon how high your T-slot is, and how much pressure you want against your work piece, will determine your usable height. Assuming the same pressure at any height, you will have a 1-1/2" range of adjustment. If you needed more range, you might consider using the other Rockler featherboard which gives you a 5" range of adjustment.
will it work in a jessem fence
Sheldon C on Mar 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have the Rockler fence so can't say for sure but I now use the Jessem stock guides instead of the feather board and they fit without any problem and do a better job.

Does this unit work with the rockler aluminum 3' t-slot rail?
Tim Gabe on Apr 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Not absolutely sure, but it works fine with my home-made t-slot rail. Can't see any reason why it shouldn't work for the Rockler product.
Featherboard will hold stock at most 1/4" thick on table saw. Did I get the wrong one?
Brady M on Jun 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Fits all Rockler T-slot fences and can be used with material up to 1-1/8" thick.
Does this fit on a dewalt table saw?
Howard C on May 1, 2017
The featherboard is very universal, however there needs to be t-slots or mounting holes wherever you plan to mount it. We used it on an Altendorf tablesaw and we drilled mounting holes into the fence in order to mount the featherboard.
Hope this helps.
