The sliding t-bevel is the tool of choice for transferring angles and laying out dovetails and angled joinery. This model is offered with a beautiful ebony handle and solid brass wear strips for durability and a stable reference surface. 9" blade pivots and slides, and is locked in place with a comfortable knurled knob.

Difficult to tighten. Once tightened, very difficult to loosen. Even when very tight, it's easily bumped out of it's setting

I had a very old one of these sliding T-bevels that was a bit small, this unit is not only attractive, it is quality built and happened to be on sale when I bought it.
