They make a nice caliper and I need a square.

I choose this 4” Try Square due to size and accuracy. When working with many tools at one time I find I am limited as to where to place items for fast and easy time saving placement. This tool fits in my work belt which makes it a nice item to have on hand at all times.

I starting volunteering as a 19th century carpenter several years ago in Ft Vancouver.
This has been one of the tools provided by the park service for us to use.
It has been in service since before I started and is used by all the other volunteers.
If it can withstand that type of wear and tear, it's what I want in my shop at home.
