I needed a "bit" of help
I'm lucky to have a Rockler nearby. While building custom planters, the bit broke, but the bit has lasted for many years. I've been happy with Kreg's quality. The only negative, that Rockler had only 1 bit! I would have bought 2 so I wouldn't be caught in a pinch. In reality, I'm happy that Rockler had the item in stock. When I buy my Sawstop, I'll go to Rockler. There is another retailer I found a few miles away, but I'd rather give Rockler my business.

Excellent!
These bits are sharp and very hard. I love the entire system. Wish I would have discovered them a long time ago

Very High Quality, but...
Technique is very important when using this drill bit on hardwoods. The drill must be up to high speed BEFORE beginning the drilling, or else the "pilot" tip can easily break off.

Heavy Duty pocket hole kirt
I like it works very well seems a lot stronger than the earlier version. I think is very useful when using 2x material.

Great system, But....
The drill bit is absolutely essential, however it is way too soft and dulls quickly. It should be half the price considering how long it lasts.

Will try the quick change bit - have always used the standard one. Maybe this one won’t lossen in the chuck.

Existing bit getting dull, so getting ready to switch when old one is completely dull.

I have trouble keeping the chuck on my cordless drill tight enough. With a hex shank, the step drill will continue to cut even if a little loose.

Replaced bit used to build 8 cabinets that were 8 feet tall, 4 feet wide, and two feet deep. Worked great during the big build, but pretty much used up the original bit after hundreds of uses.

Will this fit the Kreg Forman db210?
Bob C on Aug 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I do not see why not.
Is this the correct replacement bit for the DB210 foreman? The standard bit the machine is shipped with, not the micro or the HD. Thank you
Ranger on Oct 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes this is the correct replacement drill bit for the DB210.
