Laguna C|Flux 3hp 1-Micron Cyclone Dust Collector
The c|flux:3 is part of a series of Laguna cyclonic dust collectors that feature a horizontal chute designed to maximize airflow while improving the volume of air moved (measured in cubic feet per minute, or CFM). It comes with a high-frequency remote control, a 3hp, 220v motor that delivers as much as 2,817 CFM and a pleated canister filter made from 109 square feet of spun-bonded polyester. The filter provides maximum airflow and filters out 99.97% of particles between 0.2 and 2 microns in size. A handle attached to an internal flapper can be manually cranked 270° to dislodge dust from the filter.
An ingenious lift system quickly picks the 46-gal. drum up off the floor and seals it against the drum lid, avoiding the need for a flex hose. This design makes the unit more easily portable because the drum wheels don't contact the floor when the unit is moved. The drum lowers easily onto the wheels for emptying.

Vraiment une merveille cette machine et efficace.
Le désavantage est qu'il est très bruyant.
Est-ce qu'il y a des gens qui ont modifier pour atténuer le bruit??
The vacuum performance is everything I hoped for. This machine easily keeps up with my 20 inch planer taking a heavy cut through my 6 inch duct work. There is so much suction that I can't even open the bottom door to my band saw when this machine is on! Absolutely no complaints in this department, which is why I think this machine is such good value. A+
The separation and filtration are less impressive but still adequate. It take about 6-7 barrels full of dust to fill the plastic bag below the filter mostly full. I hoped for more but I can deal with this. Also, filtration is lacking a bit because I can see dust coming out of the filter when I use my the filter cleaning handle. I again can deal with this because by buying this machine you are opting out of the HEPA filter option. I give the machine a B in this department.
The instructions are good for laughing at, but thats about it. They are horrible in every way from telling which screw to use, to telling you to put things together that were done at the factory. I also had a part left over that was not even mentioned in the parts list of the manual. After researching it, this piece was an air deflector for just above the barrel but this should have been in the manual obviously. Laguna's saving grace here was the videos they produced online that walk through the assembly, but even they are flawed. In all assembly took 5 hours, but I was able to complete the process without calling customer service. C-
Fit and finish is almost flawless. The one glaring flaw in the slaw is the on off button which works... most of the time. I have had a few instances where the machine would not turn off when I was pushing hard on the button. I had to track down the remote which works perfectly to turn the machine off. Good remote, bad buttons. I think its fair to call this a safety hazard. A- for fit and finish.
As previously stated, I am very happy overall with this machine, but I wanted to address every flaw in case this is a deal breaker for anyone. For me, this machine is incredible value for money and I would happily purchase it again.
