•Halogen vs. LED light; for the same output, there’s more light output with an LED
•Installation is difficult for any person with average size hands. A second person is needed to hold the light in place while the other person is trying to affix the washer and nut. A better solution is tap the holes for the screws or weld a nut on the inside. Also if the above is not done, provide a self-locking nut that will resist vibration.
•The most disappointing feature is the power supply source. On the bandsaw there is a 220 VAC outlet located on the column. The light is 120 VAC, so obviously the outlet on the column cannot be used. So, an extension cord will probably be needed to supply power.
oA suggestion: make the plug on the column a 120 VAC power source, or provide a 220 VAC to 120 VAC plug converter.
•Even if the above items were not a factor, the light is overpriced.
