More uses than meets the eye
I actually used this as a friction floor stop at the bottom of my floorstanding drillpress to keep it from rolling around while being used. Works pretty good for that application.

Making picture frames from thin stock
I plan to build a jig that will permit me to glue together thin stock to form picture frames from many different woods. Having built furniture for two homes, I have a lot of thin scrap that I plan to use for frame material. I plan to position several pieces between the clamps and a stop both mounted on a 3/4 plywood base. To prevent the glue from adhering to the jig, I plan to position newspaper below the pieces making removal easy.

Rugged - Speeds up production
When producing many identical size mortises in my drill press, I use this horizontal toggle clamp, along with a pair of vertical toggle clamps, to quickly secure boards in my mortising jig.

This is a great product. I...
This is a great product. I use it to secure my radial arm saw fence. I just slide the laminated fence between the MDF table boards and secure it. I can adjust my fence or change it out depending on what operation I am using without destroying my tape measure fence and stop block track.

These clamps hold a portable tailgate in my truck. My truck box has a fiberglass lid, so when I am hauling anything longer than the pickup box that requires the tailgate to be lowered, I wedge the portable tailgate between the box using two of these clamps. This tailgate keeps anything else in the truck from rolling out and lets me also chain the lid to the tailgate if I'm hauling something taller than the truck box, but don't necessarily want it fully extended to obstruct my view while driving.

how much is plunger travel?
Tom F on Jan 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Tom F:

The maximum plunger travel is: 1.170 inches.
Hope this helps.
Would you tell me the diameter of the plunger and the size of the bolt & nut that is extending out from the plunger? Thank you
