Sometimes referred to as ''white wenge'' because of the grain's similarity to wenge, Lati has a creamy yellow color that darkens over time to a golden hue. It is uniformly coarse in texture, and is easy to work with both hand and machine tools. Since the thicknessing is already done for you, you'll save wear and tear on your machinery and get to focus on the more enjoyable parts of your craft.
