Powerful 3'' magnets cling to any ferrous metal surface—tray angles to provide easy access to your tools.

Magnetic Tool Tray with Tilt Adjustment

Item #
58030
Rating:
64% of 100

Keep commonly used tools, cut lists and pencils close-at-hand with this handy angle-adjustable magnetic tool tray. Thanks to the jumbo 3'' magnets, you can attach it to any ferrous metal surface, such as to power tools, steel cabinets and more. The angle is held in place with sturdy detents so it won't slip. It's the ideal solution for attachment to the underside of your table saw or other cast iron tool, which would otherwise need to be drilled into. Adjust it flat to keep your wrenches and push sticks handy, or angle it for easy visibility of your cut list.

Features:

  • Side walls prevent items from rolling off.
  • Angle adjustable with sturdy no-slip detents.
  • Heavy-duty powder-coated steel resists corrosion.
  • Shipping Restrictions: Ground Transportation Only.

Magnetic tool tray
It's nice to be able to move a tray around the workshop with items in it for my next project. BUT. it is wrong to call it a magnetic tray. it's a none magnetic tray with magnets on it to hold it on metal surfaces. So, with this tray u can put screws, etc, in it and u do not have to fight with the tray to get them out as u do with magnetic trays

A stronger alternative to a great idea.
It did not function as originally expected. However, with a slight modification it works well. The magnets are not strong enough to hold to work stand. I removed magnets and bolted it in place. Stuck magnets under tray and it works great!

Strong magnets
The magnets on this tray are very strong and will support a good amount of weight. They are big and round so they don't do well on small tool tables (drill press, bench grinder stand), but if you have an area over two inches of surface for them this is excellent.

Tray
The magnets are not strong enough to hold heavy tools bigger than several 9/16th wrenches.

Forget the magnets
The magnets hardly hold the tray. The tray itself is reaaly good. Best to pull the magnets and use on another project and screw down the tray.

Great idea but...
Great idea but the magnets are pretty weak. Can’t put anything on the tray without it falling. Going to remove the magnets and try replacing them w 95 lb magnets. Of course because of them being side loaded the weight rating will be substantially less even then.
