Magnifying tweezers
We've all had that annoying wood or metal splinter that's so small it can barely be seen but which constantly makes itself known whenever you touch something. The built-in magnifying glass and tweezer combination helps locate and remove any splinter or metal shard with ease. A great tool for any workshop!

Ideal tweezers for removing splinters
This is the best tweezers that I have seen for removing very small splinters. The point is very sharp which makes it ideal for small detail work. The magnifyer lens can be tilted which is another very nice feature.

The Perfect Tweezers
There are two things I like about these tweezers. The magnifier is amazing but the other great feature are the sharp pointed tweezers. No splinter is too deep or covered to get with these tweezers.

You've GOT to have one of these in your tool box
I've bought a second pair to put in a kitchen drawer so i can deal with all those nasty splinters I get when I'm NOT working in the shop. It's like having an extra set of hands.

After moving, I can't find the Rockler tweezers I use to remove splinters that worked so incredibly well. This pair looks the most similar to my old pair.

I see the tweezers come to a sharp point but does the sharp point grip a splinter good so it can be removed? (I've got others that have a sharp point but they won't grip the splinter good enough to remove the splinter.)
GaryW on Feb 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The tweezer points are too large to work well. I would recommend going to a drugstore and get a good set of tweezers. You will not have a built in magifing glass of course, but the tweezers will work much better than these.
