Woodworking Experience:
Good replacement
I have owned a Hitachi compressor for 20 years. It is very loud and heavy (70 lbs.). Just about worn out. This Mikita is light and quite. It has performed real well so far. I use it for wood shop pneumatic tools and vehicle tires. Love it so far.

BEST ANSWER: We purchased it for our son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. They have a camper, boat and water tubes so they wanted something to inflate various item.
We started it up Christmas eve and were surprised the noise level was pretty low.
Don't have a DB meter and don't know that I ever saw any rating on that.
All in all it is not too loud and served their needs for the price.
Would this compressor be able to power a single framing nailer with these requirements? PSI: 70 – 120, Air Consumption @ 100 PSI scfm .09
