I just bought this so-called precision machined drill chuck, and I am very disappointed. Not sure who's standard of precision we're going by, but it looks like it was made by a half blind 3rd grader. First, the jaws don't open up at all when you unscrew the finely machined brass knob. After removing the knob completely and taking a look, it appears that the four jaws are all different sizes. I managed to pry them open far enough to insert the #65 bit, but have been unable to tighten the chuck down and keep the bit straight.
The specs for this said it...Posted May 17, 2009
The specs for this said it would hold a #97 .0059" drill bit.It won't. Don't use it if you're using a .0059" bit.
