Mini-Flocker Suede-Tex Fibers & Adhesive - Navy Blue
Mini-Flocker Suede-Tex Fibers & Adhesive - Navy Blue

It's easy to apply a durable, professional looking interior liner that resembles velvet. Just apply the undercoat adhesive and then spray on the fibers to give your project a navy blue finish. Adhesive covers approximately 10-12 square feet. You will need adhesive and fibers as well as the Mini-Flocker Applicator (#28035 sold separately) to apply suede textures to a surface. Squeeze the tube to spray Suede Tex fibers. Using a separate tube for each color is recommended.

Using Mini Flocker
This product has intrigued me for quite some time now and I've finally built a project to use it on. It was so easy to use and I'm thrilled with the results!

The final result was very good. The application was extremely messy and had to be cleaned. The glue went through the glue ups and underneath the bottom of the drawer and was wet for two or more days. Once I got it sanded away from the visible parts of the drawers, I really really liked it. The felt lining the drawers looked great! The end was worth it.

Color
Everything worked fine. Only I found the Navy Blue to look more black color. Next time I order I'll go with the lighter blue. The process works fine. Very happy with. Not too difficult to use and not really all that messy. It really dresses up a project.

how thick can you make it ?
edward t on Jun 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: How thick can you make it? Well I have only used this product now 4 times. I have found out to only brush on enough adhesive to cover the surface (like if you were painting a living room wall). Now if you have read the instructions on the can, thicker coats will SAG and will also make your final suede coat look like that. So I don't know why you would want to make it thicker. If you have some inperfections in the wood you can use wood filler to fill it.
i am making a case for my pool sticks ,, and was wondering how thick it should be ,to protect them from being damaged ?
edward t on Jun 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hopefully this helps, I shoot pool and have a few expensive cues, and I'm making some jewelry boxes for gifts, I bought the flocking system for the box and then switched to the velvet adhesive backed product instead, I have one hard case for my cues and that is the type of material that is used inside of it. The fiber system will be too firm.
How much will this cover? I have a large pistol case, total area is 2 square feet. Will this also work on the open cell foam padding in the box?
